Without a doubt, sleep is the most overlooked and underestimated component of a healthy life. I have worked with countless people who seem to do everything right yet still struggle to lose body fat or to find the energy to tackle the day. In more cases than not, insufficient sleep tends to be the common denominator.

Regular exercise is a vital component of a healthy life. But even with the best intentions, exercising improperly can render all of your sweat and exertion worthless. While slaving away in the gym for hours has almost become a badge of honor, not only is it unnecessary, it can also be counterproductive. When you learn to structure your movement and activity in a manner consistent with your genetic code, not only does exercise become less demanding and more fruitful, but it actually becomes enjoyable again as well.
